Rules For The Fantasy Escalation Tournament on 4/10/10

1) You MAY: add to units already in your list, you may add new units to your list, you may upgrade models in units (musician, Standard, etc.), add equipment to heroes/lords, roll for spells each round.

2) You MAY NOT: change out/remove units in your original list, down grade models in units or the units themselves (basically how they start the tournament is how they will be other than adding or upgrading), remove equipment from Heroes/Lords. If there is something that you can take two of for one slot (ie Goblin Spear Chukkas) you MAY NOT add another to this if you only take one originally.

3) The scoring will be on the original 20pt system again (yes, you can draw in this tournament). There will be bonus points as usual. Rd. 3 MUST be played out. No intentional draws allowed. Victory point scale can be found on page 103 of the WFB Rulebook. Each round will last 2.5 hrs.

4) You MUST have 3 copies of EACH of your lists. They MUST be readable. One copy will be handed into me upon registering for the tournament. It will be given back to you. You MUST have all standard equipment for playing with you (ie Rulebook, Army Book, Tape Measure, etc.).

5) Objectives can only be claimed by core units that count towards the minimum core (ie Chaos Warhounds MAY NOT hold objectives). However, ANYTHING may contest the objectives being claimed. Objectives may still be claimed even if there is only one model left from the original unit (Lords/Heroes MAY NOT claim objectives if they are the last of that unit). Units fleeing MAY NOT claim or contest objectives. Units claiming or contesting objectives MUST be within 3 inches of the objective.
