Warhammer 40k Scenario Tournament 8-6-11
Tournament: Scenario Based 40K
2000 points
Date: August 6, 2011
Time: 11 am.
Cost: $10.00
Where: Comix Zone, North Syracuse

Rules restrictions:
1. Your army must to have 4 troop Choice slots filled. You cannot make them repetitive.
Example: If you take a tactical squad with a Powerfist, Melta-gun, Missile Launcher and a Rhino you may not take another one the same way. No army is excluded from this rule. Necrons can have there units different by the number of them in the unit.
2. All non dedicated Transports, Heavy Support Choices, Elite Choices, HQ Choices and Fast Attacks Choices are considered to be unique.
3. All Armies must have at least one Fast Attack, Elite and Heavy Support choice.
4. All in print codexes are usable as well as non-Apocalypse Imperial Armor Books. You can not take Super Heavy Vehicles or Gargantuan Creatures.
Scoring:
1. Painting:
0 points: not painted or primed
1 points: Primed with no painting
3 points: Mostly painted no basing detail
4: Mostly painted with base details
5 points: All painted with base detail
2. Army Composition: Everyone starts with 5 points.
+1 points: Followed army composition rules.
+2 points: Have no more than 2 of any Elite, Fast Attack or Heavy
+3 points: Have only 1 HQ Model
+5 points: Have only 1 Elite, Heavy and Fast Attack.
+2 points for NO Special Characters
-3 points: if you have more than 2 HQ models
-5 points: If you have more than 2 of any choices of heavy, fast or elite choices.
-5 points for each special character for beyond the first
-2 points for using a Special Character
3. Battle points: Every player starts with 15 points.
Each round has a scenario that has 3 different ways to victory. The First winning condition is 15 points. Winning via second condition is 10 points. Winning via the third condition is 5 points. A Draw (which is highly unlikely) would get both players 0 points.
Losing by first condition is minus 8 points. Losing by second condition is minus 5 points. Losing by third condition is minus 2 points.
4. Sportsman points:
1-5 your opponent in each round will give you a score.
This is judge on how they felt like playing you. So being a good sport will help you.
Prizes:
Best Overall: Person with the Highest overall points total
Best Painted: You have to get 5 points in painting and then they will be voted on by all players.
Best General: Person with highest point total from Battle.
Best Sportsmanship: Player with the Highest overall point with combine sportsmen and Army Composition score.
