Tomb Kings Empty Tomb Kings

Ok Tomb Kings what is the difference between them and Vamp Counts they both have troop choice of skeles but i was just wondering if there could be a convergence of the two cause i believe that vamps have better magic at controlling the dead so could the vamps turn tomb kings to their favor.....
