Is there a possibility

I have a question that I thought I would ask everyone who plays in the Lucky 13's Campaign.

Would anyone like to see a Saturday where we can start early and have a bit more time to get things done in??????

Just wondering.

The possibility of doing things on a saturday would be nice but the issue with that begins simply with work schedules. Thursday is just bluntly less important in the work week to the majority of jobs than a saturday. As well we have to keep in mind that the younger members might have prior plans that cannot be switched into the thursday time slot as easily as the club can be.

I wish saturday would work out but on my end alone I would never be at the club.

Your forgetting that the club does not have the option of Saturday @ CZ unless it is planned more than a month in advance.

Saturdays are reserved as the Warmachine groups standard day which is preempted by any GW tournament that CZ desides to run.

I understand that Grim but some people who play are very slow players and not being completely time crunched on on Thursday or an Open Night such as Tuesday.

Slow or fast makes no difference in an Apoc game. the goal is who has the most objectives when time runs out.

I'd rather play someone who plays slow & thinks about what they are doing rather than racing through the turn. Especially if they are trying to learn how to play well.

Even 40k is moving away from the, "Finish X# of turns".
GW also uses 4-5 hours as a standard for Apoc games @ Warhammer World in England.

But not to beat a dead horse, but a time crunch doesn't matter when you don't have tables to play on in the first place. Let alone convincing someone with Club Arbitor status or higher get up early on a Saturday to oversee the games?

I for one will not deprive myself of my imperial mandated sleep.......
