Shooty Shooty Ork's

I now that you can do this but is it a good or bad idea to make your Ork Boy's very shooty like with Shootas?

Depends on the way you play your Orks!
I will change my boys units based on the army I'm playing against.
I can field boyz in units any size with or without shootas.
A trend, 1st made popular by Papa Nurgle is feilding smaller units of Shooota boys in a truck. giving you small amounts of fast mobile massed shooting.

I use both but I do like to load up a Battlewagon with shoota boyz, then you have a large amount of shots from a heavily armored vehicle.... with a death rolla!

I run my redneck rampage with trukks full of ork shoota's.

now if only we seen the other ork player do these kinds of things

That is a pretty badass trend...not going to lie. I belive a maxed out unit in a truck is twelve correct? Basicly move twelve inches and fire 24 Strength 4 shot's from the Boy's and 3 Strength 5 shot's from the trukk into a unit or two...it is probebly a good thing that they all have a balistic skill of 2 cause if it were higher,,,that would be just plain busted lolol.

I typically run 4-5 trukks with 10 shoota's in each. I also like to run Ghaz in a battle wagon with meganobs. I call it redneck rampage because it made me think of some good ol' boyz in the back of pick ups with shotguns.
