Necron Strategy

I thought I would talk about Necron Strategy for a minute. This is, of course, my own opinion based on what I have learned from playing them.

The Monolith - The vital element of the Monolith is the ability to teleport Necrons through the Monolith. I realize that a lot of people use the Monolith exclusively as a large weapon. Remember that the Monoliths can block Line of Sight. So if you have a unit of Necrons behind the Monolith pushing across the field, they can get cover from the Monolith. Then, once the Monolith is in range, you can pop the Necrons out the front and blast your opponent.

Also - This ability can be used to pull your Necrons out of close combat. It also imparts a 2nd chance at "Get Back Up".

While the Monolith presents itself as a good weapon, it is the secondary abilities that make it a devastating force in any Necron force.
