As far as I know there is another company that has picked it up, but they are having problems because one of the games original designers died so they are having issues with his estate.

The last I heard, the WWE put an end to it by NOT renewing the licensing for it.

True but the game engine is still there and the owner of the engine has been in talks with TNA. The reason they ended the contract is because they wanted to give Topps a run at it but they put out a piece of gak game that is unplayable.
